Aamir Khan was born as Aamir Hussain Khan on March 14, 1965 in Bandra’s Holy Family Hospital, Mumbai. He has attended J.B. Petit School for his pre-primary education, St. Anne’s High School, Bandra till the eight grade, and later his ninth and tenth grade at the Bombay Scottish School, Mahim.
He played tennis at state level championships and was much more into sports than studies. He has completed his twelfth grade from Mumbai’s Narsee Monjee College.
Aamir Khan was born into a filmy family to film producer Tahir Hussain and Zeenat Hussain, a home maker. Nasir Hussain is his uncle and Imran Khan is his nephew. He has three siblings Faisal Khan, Farhat Khan and Nikhat Khan.
He is also a descendant of former President of India, Abul Kalam Azad. He was casted in his second film ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ by Mansoor Khan and Nasir Hussain, who are his uncles.
Aamir Khan was seen playing a wrestler in the film Dangal. The film was directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
Aamir Khan will be in his ex-manager Advait Chandan’s film titled “Secret Superstar”. He has a small, but pivotal role in the film. Aamir Khan will also be seen alongwith Amitabh Bachchan in YRF upcoming flick Thugs of Hindostan. The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif as female leads. Khan has made his acting debut as a child actor in the film “Yaadon Ki Baaraat” (1973). He made his debut in Bollywood with the movie “Holi”. But, got recognition for his outstanding performance in 1988 for the film “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” which made him won his first National Film Award as a Special Jury Award for best actor. He has done some tremendous films with extraordinary performances.
